2010 Michael Lindner D3 Frog Magnum Apple

Here is a gorgeous Magnum D3 Frog Apple I just finished up on 10/22/2010. The finish is "Antique Shell", a deep brownish-black stain with lots of red highlights peeking through. The mouthpiece is handcut from German ebonite rod stock and the overall length of this piece is 8 inches long. The briar is from Mimmo and was acquired in 2005. The blast is a beautiful craggy, very detailed mixed-grain ringblast, with a wild, wavy ringblast pattern on the left and side and front of the bowl with loose rings on the back and lots of birdseye (as well as a few rings) on the right. The main picture below doesn't show the detail of the blast, but there is a link for closeups so you can see how it turned out.

Measurements and Stampings: The pipe measures a whopping 8" long. The bowl width is 2 3/8" across at its widest point and just over 2 5/8" tall. The chamber is 1.04" across and 2.21" deep. The weight is 5.2 ounces (148 grams). The pipe is about a Dunhill mini magnum in capacity. Stampings read: michael lindner, handmade usa, 2010, D, 3 (in a circle), ("Frog" stamp, indicating "Magnum").

Price is $975 plus shipping. Currently I can accept checks or money orders, or credit cards over the phone (billed through The Piperack.) I am working on setting up a Paypal account for Lindner pipes so Paypal will be an option in the future. If you have interest in this piece, eMail me at michael (at) lindnerpipes (dot) com, or give me a call at 888/592.9100. You will likely get voicemail but I will return all calls if you leave a message.
