Where To Find My Pipes
Currently I have seven dealers in the USA, many of which are patiently waiting on pipes from me. There is also a waiting list of dealers who are interested in adding my pipes to their stores, including dealers in China, Japan, Italy, Russia and Israel. If a dealer has a website, a link is provided (although they may not have all my pipes listed.)
PREMIER DEALERS
Premier Dealers get first choice amongst all the Lindners that are produced, and carry a regular selection of pieces, sent to them as fast as they can be made. Of course, The Piperack is considered a premier dealer, and handles mostly classic shapes, but recently I've added Uptown's in Nashville and Smokingpipes.com in Little River, South Carolina as Premier dealers. Uptowns sells Lindner Design Grades only while Smokingpipes carries a mix of classics and art shapes as well as occasional Design Grade pieces.
Smokingpipes.com is one of the greatest online pipe shops in the world today. Started by Sykes Wilford, the site is a masterpiece of anything and everything you might possibly want as a pipe collector and smoker. Uptown's Pipe Emporium in Nashville, Tennessee, is run by Keith Moore, one of the legends in pipes. Keith nearly single-handedly created the ultra-high-grade pipe market in the early 1990s and I am honored to add Uptown's as one of my Premier Dealers. Uptown's is also the first dealer to carry a new series of "Lindner Design"-stamped pipes, my first new grade in over 5 years. Uptowns will be handling the vast majority of my art shapes as well as a select group of classic interpretations. All "Lindner Design" pipes sold through Uptowns (or anywhere else for that matter) will carry a special stamp of my pipe logo as the grade stamp, and truly are the best of the best. Smoker's Haven is a fantastic pipe shop in Columbus, Ohio, run by Premal Chheda, a good friend and fine pipemaker in his own right. Pulver's Briar, in Palo Alto, California, is an institution of the business. Owned and operated by Marty Pulvers - one of the pillars of the pipe world - Pulver's Briar is Marty's "retirement" after selling the venerable Sherlock's Haven in San Francisco.
